Wrens - Hopeless

These guys reaffirm my belief that the best bands these days are the guys approaching middle age. Spending their twenties obsorbing as much as possible musically, they finally got it together enought to put together a band that had what it takes. Or, in the case of The Wrens, they were too busy persuing a career to be rockstars. They actually had real day jobs and families.

Wrens - Hopeless (m4a? Can you play this?)

Here is their bio.

Band of Horses - Our Swords

These guys have been all over the blogsphere recently and could go head to head in the SOUND Team vs Tapes 'n Tapes smack down that H Low was placing bets on. Check out the song 'Funeral' if you like this.

The Beatles - Get Back

One more from the obituaries.

Billy Preston kills the organ in this. In the 5 seconds he is in this clip, he shows that he has more soul in his pinky finger than Paul has in his whole body.

Here is some more funky goodness. And how come TV is not this or this good anymore?
