Care Bears on Fire

And to think, I knew him when he was 6.

This is a shameless plug for Care Bears on Fire who were profiled in this weekend's Style section of the NY Times. Back when BR was first born we lived the garden level apartment of Brownstone in Park Slope owned by their bassist's parents. From above and below we would hear Lucio's dad playing classic rock both on the stereo and on one of the many vintage guitars he collected. Lucio plinked on the piano for a few months but it looks like he dropped that for some more in the chord of rawk.

Anyway, we will see if they can hold it together long enough to release their sophomore album without succumbing to the pressures of fame.
